PEC Plans: Catholic Financial Life Convention

Many Parts, One Body. This was the theme of the 2012 Convention for Catholic Financial Life which was held in downtown Milwaukee September 28-30th. Catholic Financial Life is the second largest Catholic not-for-profit financial services organization in the United States and PEC was fortunate to have been asked to play a small role in this successful convention.

PEC was able to organize a couple of transportation pieces for this Convention. The first piece consisted of utilizing four unique trolleys to transport the attendees from the Hilton to the Catholic Financial Life Home Office where the guests were treated to a St. Vincent de Paul HOPE Trailer Tour, a meet and greet with Miss America, a quilt raffle for the Honor Flight, and the opportunity to network while enjoying some sweets and treats.

PEC was also able to coordinate shuttles for the two days of the Convention to assist the guests between the Hilton where they were staying and the Frontier Airlines Center where they participated in various meetings, mass, and receptions. While this was only a short distance, it was greatly appreciated by the attendees and gave them the comfort of not being forced to cross the busy streets of downtown Milwaukee or exert the extra energy to get from place to place for some of the elderly attendees. This shuttle ran consistently throughout the duration of the Convention, leaving the attendees waiting no longer than five minutes at a time and a feeling of relief when they arrived to their meetings safely.

Catholic Financial Life holds a standard for their Convention that can be motivating to any company with any sort of goals by being “United by faith and a shared commitment to create a legacy for generations to come.”
